iDepot Mall Review

iDepot Mall, which can be found at idepotmall.com, is an online retailer that appears to offer a wide range of consumer goods.

Launched in January of 2018, there isn’t much information that can be found in relation with iDepot Mall.

For these reasons we have taken the time to compile this unbiased review with the intentions of shedding a bit more light regarding the workings of iDepot Mall.

To find out whether iDepot Mall is a scam or legit, we invite you to continue reading our unbiased review.

What is iDepot Mall?

iDepotMall functions as a web-based retailer that supports everyday consumer goods.

Among the category of products offered would be as followed:

  • Audio
  • Appliances
  • Cameras & Camcorders
  • Car Electronics & GPS
  • Computers & Tablets
  • Drones, Toys & Collectibles
  • Health, Fitness & Beauty
  • Home, Garage & Office
  • Musical Instruments
  • Smart Home Tech
  • TV & Home Theater
  • Wearable Technology

As you can see, iDepot Mall supports many of the same products that can be found at local retailers like Walmart or virtual platforms such as Amazon.

So why are some consumers considering iDepot Mall?

iDepot Mall just doesn’t present their platform as an online retailer, but instead as a discounted marketplace rich in consumer goods and products.

The discounted rates reflected on their site most oftentimes attract consumers who are bargain-shopping, or simply just looking to snag a good deal.

Who is Behind iDepot Mall?

iDepot Mall does not publicly share information relating to their owners or operators on general pages on their site.

What we found rather interesting would be how iDepot Mall shares 191 E. Broadway, Jackson, WY as their physical address yet when you search that address in a Google search it comes up as a non-existent location.

To further add to this mystery, iDepot Mall asserts that consumers can reach out to them at (307) 200-6971 or through email at info@idepotmall.com, yet consumers have reported that those contact methods do not work.

Domain Insight

iDepotMall was a privately registered domain that was created on January 15th, 2018 through the Google Inc registrar.

As research will suggest, iDepot Mall is not a popular online retailer and reflects rather poor web rankings.

According to SimilarWeb, iDepotMall reflected a global rank of 1,529,459 with a US rank of 318,926 as of November 25th, 2018.

It is evident to us that iDepot Mall does not receive much visitor traffic, if any at all.

Community Feedback

There isn’t much feedback regarding the legitimacy and user-friendliness of iDepot Mall.

The only external information we were able to unearth would be at the Better Business Bureau, which has given iDepot Mall a F ranking.

Below are a couple of consumer experiences we found at the Better Business Bureau:

“I placed an order #******* and have yet to get a reply saying it was in the process or anything.. My fear is they took my cc funds and I will never see this product. Both email and phone goes no where”

“depotmall.com advertise the Fitbit Charge 3 for $101.97 and after I placed it in the shopping cart and went to check out the price changed to $165.95. I’ve contacted them immediately via live chat was given a ticket number ***** but never heard back from them… I tried calling no luck there either. I send another follow up using another email address I found for them still nothing…I am simple trying to get them to honor the price they advertised the product for.”

As you can deduce for yourself, iDepot Mall does not reflect positive consumer experiences while they have yet to address the complaints starting to build up against their platform at the BBB.

Is iDepot Mall Trustworthy?

Disclosing a physical address that doesn’t exist as their headquarters, not being upfront regarding their ownership information along with the user reviews shared above, it is obvious that iDepot Mall is not a trustworthy online retailer.

Below is an accumulation of the most recent and relevant reviews regarding iDepot Mall from online consumers.

“Embarrassing as it is, I fell for this today. Same results as the video. Put Roomba I7 in my cart for $420 only to have my card as invalid. New price updated to $698. Total scam. Cancelled credit card. What an inconvenience. Thanks for the video and the heads up”

“I think I was scammed by IDEPOT I place an order on line and gave my credit card information. When I submitted it the reply came back that my card was denied. I stupidly submitted it again and it was denied again. I became suspicious and found your website describing the scam.
What can I do now to keep them from making false charges to my account. I am frantic.
Would appreciate your advice as to what to do to protect my account from false charges.”

“I just filed my complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau they are damn lucky I can’t jump through the phone or Internet and grab them around the neck”

iDepot Mall Review Conclusion

Consumers should be weary prior to placing any orders with iDepot Mall.

While we understand that trying to save money is an important practice exercised by most consumers, it is also a practice that should be exercised with caution.

Don’t jeopardize your hard-earned money with an online retailer that possesses little to no web-presence with the hopes of savings a few bucks, more likely than not it hurt you in the end.

With this in mind we are going to bring our review to a close.

Outcome:DO NOT PLACE ANY ORDERS WITH iDepot MALL!

Site to Avoid: iDEPOTMALL.com is a SCAM!

Our recommendation for the time being would be to use reputable and top-rated online retailers such as Amazon, which feature daily and weekly deals that can save you money while allowing you to rest assured that your purchases will be swiftly and professionally handled.

Very similar experience to others above. I am usually very careful but had my guard down because all the workings and appearance of the site seemed completely legitimate. Also, an item I wanted badly was much cheaper (which should have been a red flag) so I was focused and excited on getting it for that price.. I worked so hard to put my order together that I had blinders on to just get it done. I’m embarrassed to say when it denied my cc, I entered another then another. I then called the phone number, which said it was not in service then it hit me and I googled and came upon this site. Shame on me, I learned a lesson. Bigger shame on Google for giving these scammers a platform to be shown along side legitimate vendors
    the internet

Declined two different CC’s. Something is fishy here. Going to call my CC companies and warm them about any suspicious activities

Item advertised by Idepotmall.com for $269.99 changed price to 449.98 in shopping cart.
If you still want to take a risk of making purchase, pay attention to the price. I think this is scam.

Definitely a scam website. They change prices (inflate prices) during the check out process, so if you do not review your cart prior to completing your order, you will end up paying the inflated price. E.g. on 12/1/2018 the Virgin Mobile – LG Stylo 4 – Black is advertised on their website at $119.99, at check out it comes up $199.98.

Call your credit card company immediately and tell them your circumstances. Then go online and file a dispute with your credit card company so they have it in writing that you will refuse to pay any charges from iDepot.

I knew something was odd when it would not accept my GOOD credit cards when ordering! I tried calling bogus phone # and also wrote customer support email to no answers. Reading the above comment I will check my bank accts to make sure nothing went through!!! I was looking forward to getting what I ordered cheaper than other places but it also said “no tax or shipping fees” which I had never seen. Always watch your back I suppose! Thanks for exposing the crooks!!!!!

Oh Yes, I Googled this SCAM–found your review and as always…”if it seems too good 2 b true…it is. ! Thank you for taking the time. You’re great for doing it. Merry Christmas to all and I know I’ll have a good night. 🙂

Thanks for the information. I was going to order the Fitbit charge 3 advertised for sale at $89.97. I emailed them regarding details yesterday. Still no response from them today. I also tried calling 3072006971 and it appears to be fake or something because the call will not go through. One last thing, the price on the Fitbit is still showing $89.97 on Google but when you click on it the price jumps up to $149.95. I knew this price seemed too good to be true and apparentally it is. Will not do busines with this place. Thanks for sharing everyone.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones….I input my information two weeks ago, but they didn’t charge my account. I am contacting my bank to reject any charges from them, if they do come through. I should have done my research better!
