I ordered three suits- this is the first time I have ordered from Facebook ads and it will be the last. They shipped 1 of the 3 and since then, customer service keeps telling me to be patient. It is clearly coming from China as the English is suspect- Facebook needs to be accountable for littering our feeds with fake companies. I am super irritated with myself for buying something online through Facebook. If I had said it out loud, I would not have gone on this site.
    Sigh.

I had the same expeeience! I purchased a suit on June 12th and have not received it. All they say is to be patient. I requested a refund and have not heard back. Facebook should be held responsible for putting ads on our feed that are scams.

  2. Rebekah

I had the same experience. Worst company ever! I will be more cautious in the future of who I purchase from online.

  3. Joyce

These sites need to be banned from social media. I too needed to return the swim suit for an improper fit. I was told I was only going to get a $5.00 refund as the shipping to return the suit to China costs between $25.00 – 30.00. What a complete scam! Buyer Beware!

  4. Cynthia Landrum

The same happened to me! I received my swimsuit and it didn’t fit and the are offering to give me $6 of a $36 purchase or I would have to pay a $30-35 shipping charge to return to China. I have continued to email them about their issues without throughout this whole process. At some point I told them that conducting business saying that you had something in stock and then it be shipped from China is not having it in stock. And they just kept emailing me asking me if I could please wait and and I waited and received it and I’m still not very happy.

The same thing happened to me…. I ordered 2 suits, they billed my credit card and the swim suit never arrived. I will be contacting my credit card company and I would love to report them for fraidy. Their ads pop up on my Facebook feed daily.

    • Melissa

This happened to me. I used a debit card and now I’m freaking out. I guess I need to call my bank? I have no idea how to handle this.

    Total scam!
I saw the ad on Facebook and followed seeing the deals. I purchased a swimsuit and it did come in the mail in the designated time. Prior to it arriving, I did see the EXACT same suit on a Lilly Pulitzer website for much more. When I say exact, images on both websites and titles were same. The package did not have a matching return address, it just had some address from California. When I opened, first thing I noticed was there was no packing slip. The bathing suit was NOT what I had seen at all . I thought I was purchasing a two piece set, instead it was a one piece suit . It did not fit well either, so I emailed them for an exchange as their “website” requested. They wanted me to take measurements and send pictures to show the problem. I told them I was not going to send pictures of myself. Then , the “customer service” rep told me that if I really wanted an exchange I would have to pay for the very expensive shipping charge back to CHINA. They proceeded to tell me that they thought a refund would be best and I could donate the suit if it didn’t fit as I wanted. When I replied that would work, they would only give back a $4 refund. DO NOT buy from this scam. Found out the hard way and now I am concerned about them having my credit card information.

Same exact thing happened to me!! Only it took 2 months to first receive the shipment! They requested pictures and I said no way..they needed to see “the problem was true” I said I should be able to return just based on the fact I changed my my mind..they offered me a $6 return for 2 swimsuits. I have an open dispute through PayPal which has agreed to refund me the total but I’d have to first ship back to China..ugh so mad at myself for fall for this crap!!! Never again!

  7. Jes

This website stolen pictures and design from beachsissi.com.

  8. Erica Woodward

Yes the same exact thing has happened to me! I thought it was a legitimate company and I also saw it advertised on Instagram, so I assumed it was legitimate. These scams are ridiculous. There should be criminal charges against people that do this sort of thing!

  9. Dana

Same as above. I continue to comment on FB and Insta that they are a scam & my comments are promptly removed. I paid with PayPal & I was immediately suspicious of the email address associated with their PayPal account. Instagram needs to do some due diligence with their advertisers. There is no legitimate way to get in touch with them to let them know & this ad pops up in my feed most every day.

I was directed to the Modbikini.com site through a sponsored Instagram ad. The payment process was the usual that I’ve seen and used for other company/brand online purchases so I didn’t see any red flags. But 3 weeks later I still had not received a shipping notification so I emailed them (as per their order confirmation email) and did not get any response. After doing a google search I saw this article and a few other posts on social media about similar issues. I’m currently contacting my credit card company to get a refund. I’ll definitely be more cautious in the future and not use any sites that haven’t been verified.

    • Joy

Did you have any luck with your credit card company?

      • Donna

I ordered 2 days ago and just went into the account I created when ordering ( to see if my order had been posted yet) only to be told there was no account with my email address when signing in.I rang my credit card company after reading this and explained all to them They have now cancelled my card as they said Modbikini have all my info, and they could make further charges!
