UpYoyo (UpYoyo) is a misleading discount retail scam based overseas.

Sharing affiliation with atleast 19 similar retail scams, UpYoyo is just one link in a long chain of growing retail scams.

To get the facts regarding the UpYoyo scam we invite you to read this brief yet concise review.

About UpYoyo Scam

UpYoyo is structured as a minimally invasive consumer discount retailer.

Their platform primarily targets young women and this isn’t the first time we’ve encountered linked retail operations regarding the same entities.

Take for instance the About Us template shared at UpYoyo:

“Upyoyo offers fast fashion at designer boutique quality. Our team of professional buyers identify all the latest fashion trends, at the same time examine every detail of product quality. They work with emerging designers and brands worldwide, and together present collections of creative, trendy, high craftsmanship fashion on Upyoyo.com”

If you were to copy and paste “fast fashion at designer boutique quality” on our search bar you will notice how UpYoyo is using the same About Us template with these other retail scams that we’ve already exposed:

  • JustFashionNow.com Scam
  • Mostata.com Scam
  • JustPinkParis.com Scam
  • Nokula.com Scam
  • Noracora.com Scam

The Noracora scam was probably the most viral scam site out of this bunch.

They had scammed hundreds of consumers and our review alone has 112 comments, nearly all of which depict troubling consumer experiences.

Now that you know UpYoyo is cut from the same cloth as these scams, let’s move forward.

Among the type of goods featured at UpYoyo include:

  • Solid Down Jackets
  • Sweatshirts & Hoodies
  • T-Shirts
  • Denim
  • Dresses
  • Tops
  • Bottoms
  • Shoes
  • Bags
  • Accessories

Out of the 10 product selections we tested, all images of the products were able to be backtracked through Google where we found the products were for sale by other legitimate online entities.

Contacting UpYoyo

There isn’t a scrap of identifying information that can be found at UpYoyo.com.

No company insight, reference to a physical address or something as simple as a telephone number.

Operating with blatant anonymity, the only contact method we could find would be the email: service@upyoyo.com.

Payments, Shipping & Returns

Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and PayPal.

Unfortunately, many scam retailers have started to accept PayPal.

As a result, many consumers have gone on to believe that these retailers are legitimate when in reality they are not.

By stealing tracking numbers from shipping carriers such as UPS and USPS and pawning them off as their own, scammers have been able to dismiss consumers PayPal complaints despite never receiving the product or receiving a product that does not match what was promised.

This has been a big issue with consumers who have been scammed by fraudulent retail entities.

Delivery of purchased goods is estimated between 10 to 35 business days.

Exchanges, returns and refunds are said to be eligible within 30 days of receiving purchased goods although there are no physical addresses to send the products back too.

Not to mention that UpYoyo is based overseas, so the cost it would take to ship your products back would mean that you are at an even further loss.
